The Food Spot is located on the A2, a stone’s throw from exit 6. The address to enter in your navigation system is: Proostwetering 80 in Utrecht. Since not all navigation systems are up-to-date with regard to the house numbers on the Proostwetering, it is possible that you will receive the message “destination reached” a few hundred meters away. In that case, it is important to drive a few hundred meters in the direction of Maarssen/Amsterdam on the Proostwetering, until you see Shell. Immediately before the Shell you will see The Food Spot on your left.

Are you driving without a navigation system? Then it is good to know that The Food Spot is located west of the A2, directly at exit 6 (Ring Utrecht Noord). From the direction of Amsterdam, turn right at the top of exit 6, from the south, turn left at the top of the exit. 【Public Transport】

The Food Spot has a bus stop right in front of the door, where GVU city bus 39 stops every half hour (stop “Meijewetering”). The ride to and from Utrecht Central Station takes about 20 minutes; the journey from and to Maarssen station is less than 10 minutes.

【Bicycle or Moped】

The Food Spot is also easily accessible by bicycle (or moped). You can easily cross the A2 from Utrecht/Maarssen at various places, such as via the connecting road in Maarssen: you will then arrive at “De Heldinnenlaan”, which changes into Proostwetering after a few hundred meters. The Proostwetering is of course also easy to reach from the bicycle-friendly Leidsche Rijn.
